Our second Bai Jia Bei square has arrived already! This one is from the Parsons family in Virginia. Angela and I went to high school together and hung out a lot in youth group too, but lost touch for a while after college. We reconnected a little randomly in the Spring of 2008, and discovered that we were both moving to Alexandria that summer!
It was so great to be able to spend time with her again! She was, for me, the only familiar thing in a completely foreign place. She helped me keep my sanity when I was losing it, and she volunteered to handle my wild little girls while I went to way too many pregnancy doctor visits, even while handling her own newborn!
Now Angela and Huber have two little ones, Ruthie and Nate, and we are so happy to have them in our lives!

... and it has turtles, but we'll have to let Annie know this time it's not for her! ;)
The blessing card has one of my favorite Bible verses, Jeremiah 29:11, and reads:
"We celebrate your life, little one, and the big plans the Lord has for it!!"

I tried to check "Life in Greenland" to see what else you guys were up to, but I got a message saying that only invited people were allowed to view the blog. . . Now, I know I've been there before. . . : ) so I'm not sure how I got "un-invited" (maybe I'm using a different email address??). He, he.
