OK, we have recently received a handful of Bai Jia Bei squares, and I have not gotten a chance to put them up until now. Anyway, here they are, and no... I haven't put them together. It's the work of Picasa's lovely collage feature. Also, as a disclaimer: the collage is randomly generated, and thus the fact that some pieces are larger than others in no way depicts that some fabric pieces are more important than others... in case someone's feelings got hurt...
So, the two LSU ones are from Aunt Brenda and Uncle Joe in Louisiana. The Elmo & Cookie Monster one is from MawMaw & PawPaw Joe, also in Louisiana. The green, yellow & white striped one is from the Buckley family. Tadgh and Joanne are here in Tville with little Beth while Tadgh (pronounced like tiger without the "r"... "tige") attends the helicopter school, but they are originally from Ireland, and the colors on their piece represent their home.
Finally, the Noah's Ark one is from Aunt Susan and Uncle Bob, also in Louisiana, who also sent this cute card
They also happen to be the only ones I have a picture of at the moment (thank you, Facebook!).
I will put up pics of the others when I can track them down.
For those of you who have asked me about it: YES we are still collecting pieces. You aren't too late! You haven't missed it! Send 'em in, please! I am so thrilled to see how many have come in already! I think it's very cool! I originally thought we'd wait until after we're home with Didi to put the quilt together, but with our timeline the way it is, I figure either way, I will recruit my mom to attempt it over Christmas break, I think. So, we've still got a few months to collect pieces. Please just remember to send a picture of you and your family and a prayer, blessing, verse, thought, etc. to put in the album that we will make to go along with it! Thanks so much, everyone, for your participation. We absolutely couldn't do this without you guys! :)
Finally, we got our New Hope quarterly sponsorship update this morning. Look at this cute child we sponsor! Such an adorable little guy! And getting so big! We should just bring him home! *wink wink!*
*sigh* I hope that day will be soon!

He is *totally* cute!!! You are blessed indeed!!!
