Break Out the Hair Bows and Sundresses, People!

The people of Green-land are thrilled to announce that IT'S A GIRL!
Her sweet little face popped up on our agency's website on Gracie's birthday, we requested her file, and God saved her file for us! We received Pre-Approval (PA) from China yesterday, which means that as soon as our Dossier (all those documents we've been paperchasing this whole time) gets logged-in to their system, they will begin to track her file together with ours, and we will eventually get the LOA (Letter of Acceptance), which declares her officially ours!

Her details: She's 15 months old right now. She's not a cleft kiddo like the boys, but was born with a malformed left arm and hand. She is from the same province as the boys, but a different city. She is not in a foster facility like New Hope or a Show Hope unit. Her Chinese name is Zhi Min (sort of pronounced like Jrr-mean). We don't have an English name picked out yet. For now, we are calling her "Meimei" ("may-may"... it means little sister).

The kids are thrilled, and Josh and I are as well! We are hoping to travel late in the summer, but it might take longer than that. We weren't expecting to be matched anywhere near this early in the process. So, we'll have a better, more realistic picture of when travel will happen once we're a little farther along. 

I may share more of her full story eventually. Those who have been praying for us throughout this journey so far know that although the match did come sooner than expected, it has been a long road to get to her! I do want you all to know that I am full of praise and awe at the way the Father has woven our lives together. His hand is beautifully evident in all this. He truly has planned every step, and it is such a gift to watch as He unfolds it all before our eyes. 

For now, we ask you to join with us in praying for Meimei's safety and health, and that the rest of the process to get to her will run smoothly - without any hang-ups - and as quickly as possible. This momma cannot wait to hold that sweet baby! 

Ephesians 3:20 & 21 - "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory... for ever and ever!"
