Today was a day with no schedule requirements, which was lovely! We wandered a nearby park with the rest of the group. in all my trips here, this was our first time to visit this park, and it was gorgeous! Huge lotus flowers blooming everywhere, really pretty scenery and plenty of China funnies to make me giggle too!
After that, we began Leah's transition to American life with a trip to McDonalds. She liked the fries, but wouldn't hold it up for our picture together. She also actually let Daddy hold her and didn't even fuss... because he bribed her with ice cream... (whatever works, right?)
She gave plenty of smiles today and ran and giggled and played with her buddies, but lest you think it's all rainbows and smiley faces, check out her opinion of the pool.
