Green Light!!!

Yesterday we received the email that CCAI has our Travel Approval! That means we are go for takeoff! This morning we received confirmation from the US Consulate in Guangzhou that our Consulate Appointment (CA) is set for our requested date. So, now it's time to frantically book flights!

Our countdown is now in days... actual single digit DAYS!!! My brain is spinning at a million miles an hour and there is tons to do and not enough time to do it, but it's ok because very soon we will set foot on that plane. At that point - whether everything has gotten done or not - it will be time to ride it out. I'm looking forward to that. More than that, I'm even more excited to finally meet our sweet Leah!

Please keep our family in your prayers. My mom will be taking on the monumental task of running things while we're away. The oldest 4 kids remember what that was like last time and are looking forward to it. Zach, on the other hand, has no clue. He's already the clingiest kid by far, and he hasn't been feeling well this week. So, I am more concerned for him and how he's going to handle us being gone. Please pray that his little heart would be at peace and that he will understand that Mommy and Daddy will come back.
Please pray also for Leah. She has no idea what's about to happen. Please pray for her little heart as well, that she will learn to trust us, and that she will let us love her.
