More Blessings from Afar

Another fun quilt piece came in yesterday!
This one is from the Moi family in Norway.
We met Siren (pronounced "See-rehn"), Frode, and Rakel Oline when we first moved here.  Rakel Oline and Gracie are four months apart in age, and they (and their mommies) became fast friends!  In those first days here, we spent nearly every day together, going to play group at the Children's Center, shopping, going to the park, and doing anything possible to escape our tiny apartments.  They have been back in Norway for a few years now, and Anton and Tønnes came along to join their family.  We still miss them a lot, and I love their quilt piece and card.  Siren was even brave enough to try her hand at writing in Chinese!
If you don't have time to read it all, I will point out the middle part: "I found a fabric piece with Finding Nemo.    Finding each other is a blessing.  They were lucky to find you, you are lucky you "found" them!"  Very sweet!
We love you, Moi family, and miss you still!  Tusen takk!
(Disclaimer: If tusen takk doesn't mean "thank you very much" and I just wished your grandmother a happy groundhog day or something like that, blame Google translate!  I still haven't mastered the Nordic languages!) ;)
